Here is a glimpse into a day in the life of a Desert Haven volunteer. We are fortunate to have wonderful people helping us!

Our volunteers help shape the lives of our animals, help our events run smoothly, and help keep the operations of our non-profit organization moving forward.

Saying we are grateful for their time and effort doesn’t scratch the surface of how we feel. Many hands make light work and the helpful hands of volunteers that pitch in at the Sierra County Humane Society which operates Desert Haven Animal Rescue are made of gold.
